Clothing donations charity

Let’s learn more about our charity shops !
A woman from Grabow, passionate about children, started donating food and clothes to homeless children in her community. She established a charity shop in Cape Town, opening multiple shops to assist children and elderly in need.

The woman started a charity shop by collecting donated clothes and reselling them to help children and the homeless. The shop aimed to assist young and homeless children, then expanded to elderly and homeless individuals, using the funds to support these causes.

U-turn charity shop, founded by Kommetjie, focuses on helping homeless people by providing food and other items. The shop has service centers for homeless and drug addicts, social workers, jobs, and vouchers. With 12 shops in Cape Town, U-turn aims to help people off the street and improve their lives. All proceeds go towards vouchers for homeless and needy individuals. U-turn receives donations from the public and other South African shops, including Truworths. The shop also offers Bible classes, daily activities, and schooling opportunities.

The Rural Child Charity Shop was established seven years ago by a woman in a small rural town in the Western Cape. The founder started with a children's feeding scheme, which grew into a feeding scheme for everyone in the town. She received funding from food suppliers and eventually opened a charity shop in Ceres to make up for the foundation. The charity shop then collected clothing and blankets from the community, which were then sold at local shops for R10 or R5 to fund the feeding scheme. The Rural Child Charity Shop focuses on providing essential needs like food and toiletries to the rural community, focusing on clothing donations and feeding schemes.
